Guest guest
Dear All, I was diagnosed in May with CML, " presented " with a white blood count of half a million making it seem more like AML, was given 6 days of chemo which brought the WBC down but plumetted everything else after many blood and platelette transfusions and with the final diadnosis of CML I guess you could say I am doing well, latest tests showed only 0.6 of bad stuff in my blood but 96% still in bone marrow. I am on 400mg of Gleevec daily my Dr. tells me I am where he would have expected me to be at a year (a good thing apparently). I am 48 years old and a Mother of 4 I am tired alot now and find it hard to face the fact that I cant do what I did before. I seem to tick along OK then something sets me off and I am depressed and angry for days, is this " normal " how can I stop being negative??
