Guest guest
Dear 36, You make a very good point about choosing doctors and hospitals. If I had stayed with my origiginal doctor I wouldn't be here today. He was perfecting willing to see my counts crash time and again and never tell me. I didn't know until years later when I had educated myself by learning as much as I could and looked back at my old cbc reports. I advise everyone to retain your records since diagnosis and all subsequent tests. Get a 3-ring puncher and keep all of your records in a note binder. Wasn't there something in the evening news last week about the biggest hospital in Vegas re-using the pumps for injections on HIV patients. Now they have alerted anyone who received injections from that hospital for the last several years to be tested for HIV or liver disease. I'll bet a lot of people who were treated there are hot to trot to file a malpractice suit and the lawyers will have a field day. I am not disparaging lawyers, I was a legal secretary for 23 years and I still have lawyers in my family. Just my 3 cents. Lottie Dr. Seuss says: " Be who you are and say what you feel 'cause people who mind don't matter, and people who matter don't care. " _______________________________________________________________________________ I know this is off topic, but I wanted to share it with you because in a way it is very funny, not the act, but the stupidity of some people. This was in our newspaper yesterday, and if yours is associated with the NY Times, you may have seen it. Seems this man was on his way to anger manaagement class when he became angry and struck a woman at a bus stop. Boudin pleaded guilty to 5th degree assault and can expect a sentence of up to 120 days. Boudin was waiting at a bus stop when he accosted a 59 year old woman and others. " Why don't you show me some respect? " yelling at the woman. When she took out her cell phone to call police, he hit her in the face. A 63 year old man tried to stop him, when Boudin turned around and hit the poor man with a blue folder, which then fell to the ground and he ran away. That's the sad part, that people can't feel safe waiting for a bus without being acosted by a stranger for naught. The police tracked him down through the blue folder he left at the scene. Seems the blue folder had his anger management homewowrk and his name. How thoughtful was that to leave this clue. That's the funny part. cheers, Lottie __________
