Guest guest
Marrianne, I don't know how easy it is to travel for a second opinion but if Oregon is too far (Dr. Druker), there is another doctor that you could consult at UCLA that is considered top in the CML field. That's Dr. Neil Shah. Maybe Dr. Shah is easier and closer? If so, I'm sure someone can send you the details of how to contact him. Guest guest
Here's the Neil Shah's webpage--it has contact information on it. http://www.ucsf.edu/dbps/faculty/pages/shah.html If you're in Reno, it's not too far for a nice overnight trip to SF. Dr. Shah is my CML specialist and I like him very much. He will tell you, however, that he's not a BMT person--he believes in the drugs. > > " ... there is another doctor that you could consult at UCLA that is > considered top in the CML field.
