Hello.

I have a craft project that calls for paraffin wax. Being the adventurer and

the trying-to-not-use-so-many-petroleum-products person I am, I was

wondering what a good substitute would be. Is beeswax my only economical

choice? Does anyone have a supplier for uncolored beeswax that's

inexpensive? Please email me offlist at branwen@...

Thanks!

With the exception of onepour, all other wax does that and it is normal. You

will need to top up the candle to bring it even. Your top-up wax should be

about 20 degrees F hotter than your first pour to make sure it sticks. You

want to be careful not to over pour or some of the wax may get down the side

of the candle, and that doesn't look too good.
