Guest guest
I just returned from my ONC visit this morning. I reminded him that it was 5 years ago when he told me that I had CML. What an emotional ride with all the highs and lows while we track this disease. I am happy to report that I am again negative. The lab technican punched in a quantative instead so we will redo a quailative in a month as Dr. and I both want to see the numbers. He took time to review the advances we have seen since my diagnosis and was pleased to say that we could keep on the same path. I remain somewhat anemic but that is back to about where it was 5 years ago. Our current concern is that Gleevec does not cause my anemia to increase and I need to have more blood transfusions. I read the posts daily but usually the questions ask have been answered so I do not post much. I do remember each CML brother and sister in daily prayer, and ask that they be given the strengh both mentally and physically to overcome the challenges that they face while battling the hurdles placed before us.
