Guest guest
Tracey, my son, his wife and 4 teenagers just took a canoe down the drive, and down the street!! We live on a hill, off a hill, sort of, so it's all down hill and they thought a canoe ride would be fun. Good think the local cops are having coffee and do-nuts ! Our snow has finally stopped, and although we do not get what Buffalo gets, they don't get what Watertown gets! Even all the churches are closed tomorrow and that is a first. Have a great weekend everybody, enjoy the snow, it's almost spring! Bobby Tracey <traceyincanada@...> wrote: We just got back from taking the kids to High School Musical on Ice. Had I not paid over $200 for the tickets, I never would have gone out in this storm. Thankfully we have a 4x4 (Ford Explorer) so we managed to get through it but there were streets that had cars stuck all over the place. We just plowed through like a slippery butter knife. I'm grateful we're home now. I already shovelled the 17 cms (7 inches) that fell this morning, now we have another 30 (12 inches) to clear and it's not over yet. The banks on the side of my driveway are about 15- 20 feet high. I've never seen anything like this in my life. Guest guest
Tracey and all: I understand the trouble with cold weather. In Florida it dipped below 65 yesterday and I had to put on a sweater. To top it off, I think I am allergic to the wool in my sweater. With warm regards, Matt Florida [ ] blizzard We just got back from taking the kids to High School Musical on Ice. Guest guest
Matt and All, It's 35 and sunny here in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Put on my shades and a warm jacket and went out to brunch--French food. Lovely day. All the best to All of You, L [ ] blizzard We just got back from taking the kids to High School Musical on Ice.
