Things that go beep in the night!!!!!

Hi Bob,

Glad you have a warning signal. Will they put you to sleep for the new

battery????? We went to Europe a few years ago and in the middle of the night

we would hear a beep beep beep every night at the same time no matter what

country we were in. We thought someone at first blush had turned the alarm on

the TV. We heard it every night, looked everywhere and never found it. After

we came home, we continued to hear it. We looked all over t he house and

finally after about 2 weeks, I heard a sound out of my luggage. It was my

language converter that had an alarm in it. I had put it in a secret

compartment of my new luggage and forgotten about it. Those beeps in the middle

of the night can drive you bonkers.

Hi Lottie,

The last time I had it changed (April, 2004), they put me to sleep

only after I threw a fit--but they ran another couple of lines down

into my heart then. The best I'm hoping for this time is Versed

although I doubt I'll get that. I can't imagine them cutting me open

while I'm wide awake even if they numb me up.
