Guest guest
Dear Group, Someone mentioned distilled water and I could not respond at the time because I could only read and not send before my computer crashed. I have long read about the acidity in distilled water. I used to drink it all of the time, but I only used it for my iorn. My new iron has instructions to use tap water, so I don't have to buy it any more. Whenever the water lacks the proper bicarbonates to neutralize the water in distilled water your body basically becomes acid. Long term acidity causes acid blood, which is like acid rain, causes the calcium from the bones to be leeched out and as a result, the tissues and organ have too much of calcium clogging the system. The EPA comments, " Distilled water, being essentially mineral-free, is very aggressive, in that it tends to dissolve substances with which it is in contact. " Long-term mineral loss and decalcification is associated with people that drink distilled water. That's true even if you supplement with minerals. From Dr. Mercola's site comes this message: Long-term mineral loss and decalcification is associated with people that drink distilled water. That's true even if you supplement with minerals. http://www.mercola.com/article/water/distilled_water_2.htm Just thought you'd want to know what I found out about it, even though some still believe it is good for you. Will leave it up to you to decide. Blessings, Lottie
