Subject: [ ] LLS assistance program

The co-pay assistance program sponsored by LLS has issued their new

guidlines as of January, 2008, so if you need help in paying for your drugs, you

can contact LLS at their Co-Pay Assistance Program at (877) 557-2672 or via

copay@... and a specialist will assist you. Forms for reimbursement can be

downloaded from this website:

http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/all_page?item_id=4603

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides supplementary financial assistance to

patients in significant financial need. Types of services covered by the Patient

Financial Aid program:

1.. Specific approved drugs related to the treatment/control of leukemia,

Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.

2.. Processing, typing, screening and cross-matching of blood components for

transfusions; infusion of marrow, cord blood or stem cells.

3.. Transportation to and from a doctor's office, hospital, treatment center

or Family Support Group.

4.. Initial induction x-ray therapy, x-ray therapy or other procedures

according to the specific approval of the national Patient Services Committee.

Blessings,

Lottie

Yeah and they do not cover the cost of bone marrow biopsies. That is my

biggest expense. They offered $10 for travel and I told them to shove

it.(but in a nice way)
