Hey, I was in Big Bear a few years ago. It was April, and it snowed, which cracked me up. (I'm from upstate PA, which is really cold and snowy. Even as late as May sometimes.) Gorgeous country, and I saw a wolf. Lynn
Guest guest
Cool! So far all we've seen are coyotes and lots(!!!!) of squirrels and so many pretty birds! Would love to see a bear ( at a safe distance, of course. Meaning me in the house and it outside a waaaaaays off.) and deer. Wolf wouldn't be bad either. Yes we do get snow that late in the year sometimes. Year before last it snowed in May. Didn't last even one day but hey, it was snow. I was a military brat and lived in PA for awhile when I was a kid. Not sure, think it was Farrell, PA. Coal mining town. Went up hill to school and up hill to get home. Could never figure that one out. Like the town, but like everywhere we lived, wasn't there long. San Bernardino Mts. > > In a message dated 8/16/00 6:19:52 PM, egroups writes: > > >I live in the mountains above San > >Bernardino. Little town called Running Springs.
