Guest guest
Dear China, You are young to have CML, I was 67 when I was diagnosed 11 years ago. I will let you know with I hit 12 years. LOL. Jack Nicholson would enjoy your description of yourself. I was one who found myself looking ugly with Gleevec on 600 mg.. I understand about the symptoms being cosmetic, but there are other side effects to look at that are intolerable for some. I'm glad you mentioned Dr. Druker's name. Anyone who is having a hard time can email him at drukerb@... and he will answer you. Does anyone have Carolyn Blasdel's email address, I have misplaced it. She can also be of assistance. She travels and gives lectures on Gleevec and is Dr. Druker's assistant, glad to assist you. Thank you for your input, we all learn from each other more than you will find in any text book. Everyone posting their progress is a big asset, especially to our newcomers and newbies. That is one way we spread hope throughout the group. Best wishes, Lottie
