I never even thought of giving extra blood although in another trial I was asked to do so and did for a particular purpose in research. For me, I think the fact that I can do so much and have come so far, when I do have a bad day or when I do have side affects that I need to address or " bitch about " no one seems to believe it or want to hear it. It's almost like I'm still here 8 years later (not dead) and they forget I have Cancer. I don't like the pitty but there are times when I really need that to be recognized.
