Guest guest
Dear Sharon, Don't worry about getting back to PCRU, if you were there before, you will get back there again. The reason you lost it was because you were off for so long. I was sorry I had to get off Sprycel. My doctor decided it wasn't for me and bingo bango, I was out of that one and in SKI 606 in a matter of minutes. I made the remark that I divorced Sprycel one minute and married SKI the next. The nurses were there to take my pills and have me get out of one contract and into the other. They exchanged a few words between them and the outgoing nurse told the new one that I sent out a lot of funny emails. From what I have read about Tasigna, the 400 mg. dose is much better to start off on, so I think you are in a good place for the time being and we are anxious to see what your next BMA will be. I am anxious to see mine. I get another next month, and it takes at least 3 weeks, usually more before I get my results. They grow the culture and then do something else with it. When I asked who was responsible for my results, I wanted to send an email about when it would be ready, I got them in the next day's email. Yes, Sharon, believe in your doctor, you will see results. It is much stronger than Gleevec and so is Sprycel. 140 mg. of Sprycel really pack a punch. I was down to 20 because of a lot of problems with my lungs and that was sub-optimal. Take care and wait for your blessings, Lottie
