First, thanks for answers on the sinus meds.

Second, this tiredness sort of thread...

I am usually fine. I am 36, have 3 kids (though 1 does not live with us), a

hubby and I am self-employed. I usually get up at 8:30 pm, to bed around

11:30 pm. If I have to get up earlier, I can, but I don't like to. I don't

have a typical day, as they vary so much depending on what clients need, but

currently I go to a client from 9:30 - 3:30, eat lunch around 12:00, come

home, get dinner, walk a few laps at the mall, clean up... start over again.

This said, I am not usually physical exhausted when I get done with the day.

Today, I went to a museum, walked the whole time, went to lunch, went to a

Butterfly house, walked a whole bunch. I feel like a train hit me. I knew I

was getting tired, but when I did get home... I basically collasped. I took

a two hour nap. I still feel like a train hit me. My body hurts.

This is the point (question) of my winded post: Is this normal?? When I

first got diagnosed, I remember reading people with CML should not be afraid

to ask for a wheelchair at Disney - in order to make it through the day.

After today - I wouldn't get through a full day at Disney - Is this part of

the new normal??

Thanks for all your input!!

Tammy

I think the hallmark of CML and the medication is that you never know

quite what to expect. I've been like that since taking meds in

November. Been on Sprycel for 2 months but I have run the gammut. I

felt very fatigued when my count was rising (before the medication.)

I also feel wiped out occassionally when I'm coming down with

something and sometimes just because. Just this week I had a horrible

headache for 3 days then I felt exhausted and ended up sleeping for 4

hours and began to recover the next day. I think the main factor is

our blood counts. My HCT hover right below normal and this may make

it difficult to sustain activity for very long. (I don't know what

your counts are like.)
