The agreement, signed between the Armed Forces Medical Services and the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences of USA, will allow both the countries to share military medical experience, knowledge and facilities. The agreement is likely to encourage research in fields like cancer and malaria. It will also enhance cooperation in providing training to doctors and specialists. The collaboration conceptualizes training and research work in areas like ``biological warfare, management of emerging infectious diseases, including AIDS, using wound healing and tissue repair, and clinical trial setups,'' said Gen Bhardwaj, DG, AFMS. http://www.indianexpress.com/full_story.php?content_id=68352
