Guest guest
Dear Esther, I sort of snickered when I read your post. People always say to me when they haven't seen me for a while, " But you look so good. " What do they know what's inside is right, and I ask what they expect to see, a shell? Jimmy answers and says, " It's all on the inside. " I don't really expect them to know and I'm learning to be kinder and say " thank you. " They don't always ask how you are, because they don't want to know that either, it may scare them. LOL. I didn't know anything before I was diagnosed and it was a long time after that because I wasn't on the internet and didn't know a fraction of what I know now. I wasn't supposed to have CML. I don't know much about other people's diseases, either. This disease has made me a lot more consicious of the reality of having a lot worse. That but for the grace of God go I. We have to be that little engine that could...... Blessings, Lottie
