Hi ,

So you live near Knoxville! My grandson works for AT & T and lives in

Knoxville. We usually go about once a year to visit with him and his family.

We used to drive straight through - about 700 mi., but we take it a bit easier

now and stop in northern MS for a sleepover. We stayed in a lodge on Townsend

Mt. It is so beautiful up there. Quite a few of our New Orleans citizens went

there for the last hurricane and decided to stay because they had no home to

come home to. I think one opened up a restaurant serving New Orleans and Cajun

food. My other grandson went to UT, but he lives in our town now. We also have

a friend we knew when we lived in Dallas who moved there, so we always try to

visit with her, too, for old times sake. She lives right next to Olive Garden,

so we kill 2 birds with one stone. I could eat their salad every day. LOL.

You could be right about the women having more problems with swelling. When

I stopped Gleevec, I lost 40# of fluid, some between my ears and in my ears.
