Guest guest
Dear Barb, Glad you have come aboard to our side. Tasigna came about at a good time for a lot of us because we had reached the point with Gleevec where we were either intolerant or resistant. I think raw data will show that the 400 mg. is better for people like you who have already reached PCRU and for people like me who can't tolerate the higher doses. The great thing about being PCRU, you never lost it while you were on the washout period and b efore when you took a holiday. I would have preferred to be on Tasigna, but my doctor chose the SKI 606 instead. Ny computer was down, so I don't know if you told the group how long it took you to reach PCRU, that would be interesting to know for the newcomers who are just starting out on Gleevec. That seems to be the drug of choice for most newcomers, although some are starting out on Sprycel. Happy Easter xoxoxoxox Lottie
