As you recall Beth was diagnosed back in Oct. Initially after starting gleevec she had some issues with nuetropenia but that has resolved and may have been a residual effect of having been on hydroxuria for a couple weeks. Since then life has been very good. Beth is working her full time schedule. She finds she can avoid nause by drinking milk with her 400mg. dose of gleevec. She does seem to fatique easier. The most annoying side effect so far has been diahrea. She has come to think that eating chocolate makes it worse. Any others out there with this same issue? Does the diahrea go away after a bit? With so little side effects we have no complaints but if anyone has advice on dealing with the diahrea we sure would like to hear from you. Thanks so much for being there.
