Guest guest
It is with deep sadness that I write this post today. Many of you knew ez who was one of our long time members. She posted regularly to encourage new members and give support to anyone who needed it. Her most recent post was just last week: /message/8986 She was a very caring woman who didn't let CML get her down nor any of the other difficult life circumstances that she lived through. I remember from back in 2002 when I was first diagnosed. She had such a wonderful and positive outlook on life despite living through some very difficult times (several deaths in her family including her teenage son a few years ago). 's CML was well controlled. She was only 42 years old and although I don't know exactly how she died, I do know that it was a homicide. What an absolute shame for someone who had so much more living to do. My deepest condolences to her family, Tracey
Guest guest
Although I had not had a chance to email with , it is obvious that she was a wonderful person. Just reading about all the things she had overcome was such an inspiration! Our prayers are with the entire family. What a testimony of living victoriously in the face of adversity. May we all learn from her life, and keep her memory alive for those on this journey. It is a blessing to be a part of this and other CML support networks. Guest guest
-Dear Listmates: The news about is awful. It stinks. I guess I just assumed that when we lost a member it would be to this disease, not to something as horrid as murder. I will be praying for her children, that God will wrap them in His arms and give them comfort. What is to become of them now? If someone finds out that there is a fund set up for these kids, please post it so that those of us who " knew " her from her and are able can contribute. We will miss her voice, her wisdom, and her indominable spirit. Guest guest
Dear List members, I've been sick with the " crud flu " this week, and hadn't been reading the list. Open up today, and hear such tragic news about . I am so sad for her and her family members. She was such an amazing spirit, and packed in a lot of life and experience in such a short amount of years. She was always very generous in sharing support, information, or just being kind to people/patients in need. She will certainly be missed. My condolences to her family. Guest guest
Opening the list this morning and reading of 'a death is devestating. She was indeed an inspiration to us all for many years. She will be sorely missed by us all. When I would be in Tampa she would offer to meet or help in anyway she could. Always thinking of others before herself. She was truly an angel on this list for us all. May she rest in peace. Joan P. ville
