Guest guest
Lottie: Wow, 53 years is amazing accomplishment. That is a testament to you and your husband. You must real care about each other. I agree with you on goals. If you don't set a vision about what direction your going your a lost soul. Congrats on that 50th and beyond!! Take care and stay focused, Therese Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> wrote: Dear Therese, My middle name is Theresia. Thank you very much for your post in telling it like it is to those who have trepidations in making decisions. One has to consider all alternatives when faced with a tough decision. It may not be the popular one, but in your case, it was the one you chose and it saved your life. Whether we have a BMT or not, we will always have challenges to face in life, if not from illness, sometimes personal experiences that are difficult, such as estrangement from family members, the death of a child, loss of a friendship or a stable job, etc. I especially liked that you took the route you did, because you had a plan mapped out, to see your children graduate from college. I didn't have a BMT, but my plan was to have my 50'th wedding anniversary, against all odds. I have surpassed it and this year we will celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. It's not always easy to have goals, but if you do, it helps you to keep yourself grounded in believing we have to overcome that fear, and focus on hope. For you and many it panned out and I wish you live long enough to see your children's children graduate from college. Blessings, Lottie
