Guest guest
BMS-214662 potently induces apoptosis of chronic myeloid leukemia stem and progenitor cells and synergizes with tyrosine kinase inhibitors http://tinyurl.com/2fpoba For those of you contemplating Tasigna, there is a very interesting article in the Winter 2007 edition of Cure magazine. In phase II studies, Tasigna decreassed white blood cell counts in 137 (74%) of 185 patients. It eliminated the number of cells carrying the abnormal Ph+ in 145 of 279 patients or 52%. Those in acelerated phase showed a 59% decrease in WBC. 23patients saw a reduction or elimination of the PH+ containing cells, or about 36%. Side effects of Tasigna can be rash, headache and low blood counts. For more information, go to http://www.tasigna.com/index.jsp I wish the buck stopped here, I could use a few, Lottie
