I never heard any doctor say we were predisposed to blindness on account of CML. Maybe I should inquire next time I go, but I find that most doctors are not up to par on CML and end up asking me questions about it. They first thing they want to know is, " Is it curable? " Some mix it up with CLL. Let's all hope and pray for him that he doesn't lose his eyesight. Some people who have diabetes do lose their eyesight. Every once in a while you find someone who is worse off than you and it sorta takes your mind off yourself for a while, then you begin to see that you are not so bad off after all LOL.
