Guest guest Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 Hi Zazzy, I had a lot of surgeries, too, but never stopped taking Gleevec except for the day of surgery, since I couldn't eat anything. That was one time I had to bring my own medicine because they didn't carry it in their pharmacy. They brought it to me only when I was supposed to have it and not before. I did have to go off Sprycel a week before I had the surgery because there is a blood thinner already in it. Here is something funny I thought everyone would enjoy. If you don't believe it, just try this experiment. Put your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car for an hour. When you open the trunk, which one will be really happy to see you?
