Guest guest
Pastor , What type of denomination? I know many pastors, without judging, are just not into diet change. For sure the members aren't where I have been. I go to very large churches too. For me I'm content with the habit of raw mainly, but some vegan cooked plant based foods. There is a book " Why Christians Get Sick " that goes more into detail by www.hacres.com folks. Hope you are doing well. Saw Fiedler 2008 calendar at Costco. Didn't forget the card offer either but haven't sent you info. Lynn: I mentioned book above. Also check out website for their free health tips. hugs, carolg > Thank you for the suggestion on that book. However, I have a question. There's food information in the bible? I don't really know that book very well, but I thought it was a religious book and had nothing to do with food. Would you be willing to give me a few passages to read. You've got me all intrigued now. ) Thanks again > > Beannacht > Lynn > > > . > > > > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
This is not to get into a discussion of religion, but I do just want to point out that if you can find a Seventh Day Adventist Church near you, they may have vegetarian cooking classes for the public. That religion is very into healthy eating " by the Bible " . The church that is near me is starting an 8-week veggie cooking class starting next week - free! They are very " into " eating right. I was a vendor a couple weeks ago at a health fair they held at their church, and along with the fair they had a vegetarian cook-off contest, and all us vendors got to be the judges! Wow! What a tough job LOL !! Everything was so delicious!
