INDEED... We are here to inform and to help and to teach. You must go down the path that is right for you.. and we do preach "Do the research" the more you learn the more you know. And that's the answer I was looking for when I posted the question!

Looks as if I'll be sticking around.

Several years ago, before the email lists became popular, I spent a

quantity of time on diet and health forums on the internet. The loudest,

rudest, most " violent " members were, almost without exception, vegans.

Glad I won't find that here.

It is my belief, opinion, or whatever one wants to call it that germs

(bacteria, etc.) do cause diseases. But if one has a strong immune

system from eating whole, natural foods the "bugs" can't get a toe hold

so the person does not get sick.

So, are you using the term "germ" to indicate "unfriendly" (for lack of a better term) microbes?

Because I think I could hang with that notion.
