Carol, I've heard that "Calcarea phosphorica" is a solution that can help in the treatment and rebalancing of abnormal bone formations that cause irritation to bunion sufferers. Suzi,

Where do I buy Calcarea phosporica?

Thanks. Visiting health food store probably later too. Today bone

feels fine, but maybe these Nike are hard material, more like a

leather or is leather perhaps, so it doesn't leave any real play

that a Nike fabric would create in the toe area? Thanks for sharing.

Tried calling Gloria today and yesterday and keep missing her.

Treatments begin either today or tomorrow.

Carol, Calc Phos is a homeopathic remedy...a cell salt, I think.

You can get it at Whole Foods if the HFS doesn't carry it.

Sharyn

P.S. Gloria starts radiation for her breast cancer tomorrow. Debra will be

taking her. I'm glad the allopathic system got rid of the spinal tumor and

her back can heal, but not so glad she's now firmly entrenched in said

system!

True Sharyn... but sometimes you need some "emergency" help.. and down the road we can help Gloria get herself back on track again. Suzi"Sharyn E. Cerniglia" <sharyncern@...> wrote: P.S. Here is some good info on bunions Carol

http://www.footphysicians.com/footankleinfo/bunions.htm

I think it might help you understand what

it is, why it is, and what can be done.  I will say it is a mechanical problem,

not internal.

bunion revisited

I have one large hunk of a bump (my bunion). At least

to me as it is

getting very annoying to put my wide running shoe on.

Tonight it is feeling very irritated and yes red too.

I am thinking I need to find a " guard " or something to protect the

hunk. A bunion is a protrusion on the fat toe I believe. Mine was

caused by growing up in tight shoes. My mother thought they were

living proof they are more damage then I want to admit.

I don't wear tight shoes today.

Janet,

Thanks for link.

I still think mine is attributed to small shoes my mother put on my

feet for the right price:

Symptoms

Symptoms occur most often when wearing shoes that crowd the toes—

shoes with a tight toe box or high heels. This may explain why women

are more likely to have symptoms than men. In addition, spending

long periods of time on your feet can aggravate the symptoms of

bunions.

Sharyn,

Thanks. I'll read about the Calc Phos and do have lots of Whole

Foods all around me. Would my bunion be considered a " bump " or bony

growth? Found a link I need to spend more time with discussing

bunions too:

Gayla,

Okay, I need a refresher course please. How are you making the

plaster? Are you buying the root fresh from Asian market. I love

details.

So is the bunion still around but just no signs of aching? Do I wrap

the foot and put plastic bag on it? How often change it or????

What else are you using taro root plaster for or just the taro

perhaps? Got a book? Thanks for blessing me. Wow...I'm

amazed...taro root powder.
