Guest guest
Hi I am having a terrible time with my bath bombs at the moment too. I thought the day was going to be good enough for me to make them, when I checked on the sky there wasn't a cloud to be seen (hadn't been all day) but as I made it clouds came over and the humidity increased slightly and my bombs started pitting and as I look at them now I know that they are going to become fizzing bath powder too :-( I don't know a way around the weather when it comes to making bath bombs and I am hoping someone else might know. But my guess is that it is the water in the atmosphere that is causing your crumbly bombs. Regards WB Hunter Valley in Oz > My fizzing bath bombs aren't getting hard like they're supposed to (they crumble no matter how long I Iet them sit to dry) yet I'm using a recipe that I've used successfully several times in the past. What could be causing this? [...]The only things I can think of that are different now (as opposed to when it worked), is that when I made them before, the weather was much warmer (late summer, early fall). Now-a-days it rains almost every day and as it's cold, I've had the woodstove running almost constantly. Could either of these things affect the outcome of bath fizzies??? I know it sounds like a weird question, but after racking my brain for answers, I can't think of anything else that's different. Any help would be appreciated! > Thanks, > >
