Guest guest
--- HI , Hey, how are ya? Sometimes I have a meal right before bed and that helps. One night I had my last meal at 7 pm and went to bed at ten. I had to get up at about 2 and eat because I could not go back to sleep. Maybe you could have something like right before bedtime? Even if you are not hungry, and it's been 2 hours since your last meal, you should try to eat. It has helped me. My last meal is usually nine oclock. Hope that helps a bit. Guest guest
Hi, I may be oversimplifying this, but sometimes I have a drink of water and it staves off the hunger until the " right " time. Maybe getting a drink when you get up will help? Guest guest
What time do you go to sleep? You may just be going too long without food. I usually eat the last meal right before bed. Middle of the night hunger Last night I woke up at 2:30 am starving. I had to eat. This is not the first time this has happened. I did have 6 meals yesterday - the last one at about 8:00. When I went to bed I was not even remotely hungry. Anyway, has anyone else experienced this? Should I have tried to go back to bed without eating? I'm wondering what's causing this. If you're waking up starving, I'd eat something, otherwise your body is possibly burning muscle. BUT, it might be better to space your meals differently and have your last one RIGHT before bed, so that you don't take the extra calories of a seventh meal(since I believe you're having problems with slow results? correct me if I have the wrong lady!). Guest guest
Someone else already said this but maybe if you just get a drink of water? and like Kathi said, eat your last meal sometime before you go to bed. What are you having at your last meal? ~kimmah Middle of the night hunger Last night I woke up at 2:30 am starving. I had to eat. This is not the first time this has happened. Guest guest
Cottage cheese??? is a dairy..(need I say more).. the thought of cottage cheese and clams together is enough to upset my tummy..and to put prunes on top... wow... A glass of water or juice would have been better. or just the prunes, or a fruit, nuts, , weren't you working on a health issue just recently? Guest guest
Hi , I will tell you only one bad aspect of your eating episode: You should eat prunes, or any other fruit first, always first, before eating anything else. Reason: the fruit is mainly digested in the bowels and spend a short time in the stomach. If you eat it after another kind of food that needs to be in the stomach for longer time, you force the fruit to be there. The fruit ferments and creates digestive problems. Guest guest
Everyone slips up now and then. You could have gotten up and downed a chocolate shake and some fries, which would have been worse. Worrying about it is the worst thing you can do, so forgive yourself and eat healthy for the rest of the week. Guest guest
It's awful to go through insomnia. Staying awake, even lying still with your eyes closed uses more energy and will make you hungry. But the fact that your stomach was still upset leads me to believe it was very mild flu symptoms. Something similar went through our home about two weeks ago. While everyone else we knew was coming down with a nasty 24hour stomach flu, we just felt a bit 'off' for a few hours. We had a hungry feeling that didn't go away after eating. My husband is sure it is due to our natural healing and organic foods but we seldom get actually sick. For the stomach thing we drank lots of fluid and took some intestinal cleanse to help our body flush it out faster.
