Guest guest
Thank you MS. SUZI. Today was reading 's book and also Prescription for....book. I believe both mentioned Aloe Vera. Thanks for link too. At this point my daughter is overwhelmed. The doctor told husband no cure or known reason for this. I said there is no known cure for epilepsy but my husband overcame it in 6 weeks. There is no known cure for cure as we are still " racing for the cure " yearly and yet the Hallelujah Diet seems to have people come forth that are healed. Guest guest
Would the same diet be recommended for Ulcerative Colitis? and, would brown rice cause the colitis to flare up? > 4 month wait, try this and that is FINALLY over! > > Today was colonoscopy. > > Daughter has Crohn's. > > She has many choices to make. > > She was reading she can't eat fruits/veggies and maybe in the > beginning it can be more like cooked to start, but still can't be > forever. > > I am going to suggest Hallelujah Diet. Guest guest
Brown rice should be OKCarol. She will need to eat it plain or with mild herbs instead of butter though. I was thinking slippery elm would be a good herb to look into for when she is having a bad flare up. It is very soothing to the digestive tract. Maybe she could find a support group in her home town for Crohn’s, which would help her with her stress levels. Meditation, yoga, and mild exercise routines are also very helpful in reducing stress. I would also encourage her to see a licensed naturopath. Auto immune disorders can be very complicated and he/she would be able to manage her therapy without resorting to modern medicine. Guest guest
The Hallelujah Diet has proven great for many health challenges. If you are ordering any of their materials please consider contacting Shari or myself as we are health ministers and do benefit a pinch. Regardless I do believe in the program. I would say dietary change vital. Also check out curezone.com. Also a book I saw at health food store Gut Solutions by looked good. Maybe check library first. I would still encourage the H.D. Best to you. carolg > > > > Would the same diet be recommended for Ulcerative Colitis? and, > would brown rice cause the colitis to flare up? > > > > > > > > 4 month wait, try this and that is FINALLY over! > > > > Today was colonoscopy. > > > > Daughter has Crohn's. > > > > She has many choices to make. > > > > She was reading she can't eat fruits/veggies and maybe in the > > beginning it can be more like cooked to start, but still can't be > > forever. > > > > I am going to suggest Hallelujah Diet. Guest guest
Janet, Thanks and totally agree with all you wrote below. I found great information at Suzi's link and also curezone.com. I appreciate your time. I never heard of marshmellow tea but was recommended at at site for daughter. I don't know if all Crohn's people have holes in their intestines, but I know the body is self healing so now my daughter has opportunity to make different choices. I do Yoga myself, but for Crohn's didn't see the relationship to stress, but surely stress can kill. Hugs, carolg > > Brown rice should be OKCarol. Guest guest
No problem at all sweetie. It is difficult to see the big picture when we are personally involved, I do it all the time with my kids. I don’t know what I’d do without you guys. Janet P.S. ~ Is adding more advertising garbage to the end of posts, or is it me? Guest guest
My daughter is starting her hunt for things tomorrow and will be taking aloe vera gel for sure. She is a small eater and tiny portions is not a problem. Her dr. spoke with her today and he was surprised she didn't show any signs till the last 4 months. He said her intestines looked very bad. Next week she will go in and pick his brain, but she has Dave Klein's book he sells at amazon.com or maybe livingnutrition.com website to see if this doctor's th inking lines up with the book. Regardless she is not headed down drug road she says. Her dr. wants her to be an expert about this condition and sent to her foundation for more info. hugs, carolg > > You sure don't feel like putting anything down there when you have one, > unfortunately you really need to have something there for the stomach to > work on.
