Guest guest
thanks for the site with instructions for soap rocks. I saw some really pretty ones in a shop the other day. They had a big variety of these " rocks. " big variety of colors and shapes and sizes. lots more variation in colors than the ones on this site. many of them were very realistic looking. Anyone else have some other insructions/sites? I really want to make some of these.
Guest guest
Soap Rocks are made by TS Pink and they spent 10 years developing them. If you find out how to do it faster than that, please let me in on the secret, cause I LOVE those soaps!!

Guest guest
soap rocks I found some real good recipes for soap rocks in Marie Browning's " melt & pour soapmaking " book... We will try this... Molds: use any mold that can be poured to a depth of approzimatley 2 " ... For marbled soap: melt clear glycerin soap base and white glycerin soap base in different containers...The base can be colored or left clear and white...Pour the melted soaps into the mold at the same time... For a chunk style soap in a marbled base: Mold scented and colored soap...Cut into crystal-shaped pieces 1/2 to 1 " ...Place in the mold before pouring in the two melted soap bases to marbleize... Cutting soap: THe most important step is cutting the soaps after they are molded so they look like gems...Cut the soap into 2 " to 3 " pieces and trim by cutting random sharp, straight angles...This imitates the facets and clean cleavages of crytals... I have tried all of this and more...The cutting is the way that you can really get the right look... And do not worry, if you do not like the way that they look, just remelt and start again... frances Frances Collectors Market PO Box 327 , Arkansas 72089 The Purrfect Soap Company PO Box 327 , Arkansas 72089 1-501-847-6899 10 to 5 cst fax 1-501-847-6899 after 6 cst www.collectorsfleamarket.com frances@...
