I have used a couple products from Herbs for Kids (from the HFS) which help.

One is cherry bark extract and the other is Throat Spray for Kids.

Olive Leaf Extract is good, but Oregano extract is just as good. Both in

conjunction will really kick some virus/bacteria, and gumwhats. I caught

something from my X, and he has Bronkitis. All I used was high Vit C. Olive

Leaf, Oregano leaf, and Echenacia. I usually have to have antibiotics, but I got

better just with the two above herbs, and the Vit C. My son and I am on the

detox also, and other than a daily small headache that seems to be following me,

we are moving slowly, and cautiously through the detox process. Been just doing

a liver strengthening cleaning process first so we can process the metal as it

moves through. I have just broken out after a month of liver and kidney work,

the ALA. I am going to have to create my own capsules of many things due to

finances, but I have been studying herbs for 20 years, and making my own for a

long time.

Hi all…I’ve perused the files but there are just

so many it’s hard to know where to start!

Over the past several days I’ve developed a wet but

non-productive ticklish cough. I do have a little sinus congestion, but not a

lot, mostly just this annoying cough. I am not at all sick, just coughing.

I would like recommendations of what to take to make it expectorant

or go away.

I’ve been drinking a lot of water…

Thanks!

My first thought is Tonic. Do you have some, or the ingredients to make some? I have some extra (about a flask's worth) if you need, I can UPS some to you. Hope you feel better!!!!! Thank you, ! I have three quart jars

full of super tonic, will get religious about taking it.

It’s morphed again…yesterday

the small amount of sinus congestion disappeared and the cough became more

frequent and loose. Woke up this morning to a bad sore throat (gone now) and

more loose coughing. Coughed up some phlegm. Am taking the honey/lemon/water

cough syrup, lots of vitamin C, and Meyer lemon juice in water. Will add

tonic.

Funny thing is…I am *still* not sick – and I am not

complaining about that! It’s just weird to have all this going on and

still feel really good.

Marshmallow root is good for chesty coughs

too. Wild cherry bark can help minimize the actual coughing.

Hi Sharyn,

The recipe in the files http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/YB46R7Zx4Ck1fqLOfQGGaXBm0DNVTJlIECJVVlvuKcuJeCNkoUWVklY7N801FDyCRlguMcVVTIy_DkdAhy2Jk-m9vQZfyByo3Q/Herbal%20Formulas%20by%20Drs%20Schulze%20%26%20/Lung%20Formula works miracles for coughing and congestion. I can't say much for the taste but it sure does work. Even my skeptical husband has admitted it works great.

It's the lung formula under and Schulze in the files Sharyn. Here it is for you:Formula for lungs and respiratory tract 1 part Comfrey root (Symphytum officinale) 1 part mullein (Verbascum thapsus) 1 part Chickweed (Stellaria media) 1 part Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) 1 part Lobelia (Lobelia inflata) This formula may be used powdered in capsules, made into a tea (infusion) or made into a tincture/extract using either alcohol, organic Apple Cider Vinegar or glycerine (which is what Dr. used). Dosage: For an adult 1 cup of tea two or three times a day or two or three capsules or 10 to 20 drops of the tincture/extract two to three times a day with a cup of comfrey tea. This combination of herbs is an aid to relieve irritation in the respiratory tract, lungs and bronchials. This is an aid in emphysema as well as other bronchial and lung congestions such as bronchitis, asthma, tuberculosis, etc. This

formula is extremely valuable in strengthening and healing the entire respiratory tract. It promotes the discharge of mucus secretions from the bronchopulmonary passages. At my house, OLE helped with viruses and bacteria, and *increased* yeast.

this year I am making determinations on if something is the swin or the 1918

spanish flu (google and muscle test to see if symptoms fit). Spanish flu can

cause cytokine storms and at times created hemorragic pnuemonia. Because of the

cytokine storm nature of the 1918 flu, this year all of my pain relievers,

elderberry, echinachea, abx, and natural abx is put up and locked away. We

aren't using them for this year. Our family treats lungs with plueresy root,

rife freq 1550 for lung, there is a rife freq. for spanish flu, unda numbers for

lungs, massive doses of vitamin c, turmeric in high doses for inflammation,

compresses over the lungs, and nothing given that stimulates the immune system.

For ole we dosed 500mg. daily. We also used C with that, vitamin D is awesome

for flu and we take that, and we love virastop for flu.

Thanks Dana, for your reaction. I do have another question: could this coughing

be from yeast as well? Is it possible to have yeast in the longs If yes, what

are the symptoms?

Is there any chance your son may have post-nasal drip or thickened secretions

from his sinuses in the back of his throat?

My son had a strange cough and his pediatrician had me give him saline nasal

spray to flush out the naso-pharyngeal passages. For my son, that worked.
