Got (Cloned) Milk? Tell Congress NO!

The FDA could soon allow milk and meat fromcloned animals to be sold as food, without anylabeling. Clones could soon be the food on your table,and you would never know it.

A majority of cloned animals never make it to adulthood due to birth defects and disease. Mostsicken and die before they reach their firstbirthday. With weak immune systems, they contract infections requiring antibiotic treatment. Overuse ofantibiotics already contributes to the rise ofantibiotic resistant strains.

But we have a chance make the FDA reconsider. Aproposed amendment to the Farm Bill would keep clonedfood off the market until the FDA fully considers someof the things you care about -- safety, animal healthand public health.

We should be able to count on having access to safeand wholesome food at our supermarkets. We need yourhelp to win in Congress!
