Guest guest
I just made a chamomile/calendula salve and need some help. It is harder and greasier than I had hoped. I would like to add something to it to maybe keep it from being so hard (more like a cream consistency) and also something to cut down on the greasy feel. I don't remember where I found this recipe but I just changed the herbs around to suit my needs. Everything else is exactly the way I found the recipe. Any help is appreciated. The recipe I used is below. 4 ounces of Chamomile/Calendula infused oil (equal parts Sw. Almond and Olive Oil) 1 1/2 ounce Cocoa Butter 1/2 ounce emulsifying wax vit. E oil Melted cocoa butter and emulsifying wax. Added infused oil and vit. e oil mixed well Poured into glass container and let cool. It is very hard but when I take some out to use it liquifies in my hands but is just way too greasy. Thanks in advance.
