Guest guest
It looks to be the very same. However, if you go to their web site I believe it's the cleaning agents that are different. It looks the same on the bottle, but it is not. Maybe the buffering agents. There are differences. I said the same thing. But, then looked at the entire ingred. and they are different. Guest guest
Just want to make sure you don't think I am trying to start an argument here or act like a know it all. Heck, I didn't know anything about it until a year ago. I just remember I was saying the exact same thing you are. But, there is a difference. Same thing w/fabric softeners. They say scent free. But, if you go the web sites of some read the ingred. you will find fragrances in there. It's like they hide them or something. After I put the kids to bed I will try to find what the difference was. Not guaranteeing anything, but I'll try.
Guest guest
I just tried to go to their site. Seems they are changing it around. Can't view any of the pages. So, have to wait until they are done. In the mean time I'll try to find the info from somewhere else. I don't have the other bottle though. But, maybe I can remember when I see it. Guest guest
Well I can't find it. So forget I said anything. But, thru all of this I found out something very interesting. I went to this website it lists laundry detergents and their ingred. Funny thing Purex Free & Clear seems to have less ingred. than any of them. I'll have to check that out the next time I'm at the grocery store. Also, Tide free & clear has less ingred. than the ALL. Just thought you'd like to take a peek. My thought is if it works for ya then use it. What works for me might not work for you. But, I might try a different brand. Purex is really cheap over here. http://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.com/detergentchart.htm Re: [] Re: laundry detergent Just want to make sure you don't think I am trying to start an argument here or act like a know it all. Guest guest
Thanx Jeff, That's what I was looking for. [] Re: laundry detergent For ALL: I am sure I posted this before but here it is again. In addition to fragrances being a problem, enzymes in detergents can also be allergenic. Be sure to read the detergent label. ALL Free (for the moment) has no enzymes but Seventh Generation has enzyme. The protease (protein digesting enzyme)most detergents use, called subtilisin, was asociated with very high rates of occupational asthma. Many enzymes are powerful sensitizers, and more and more of these biotech chemicals are ending up in detergents. I believe that the most significant exposure is via chemical residues on clothing lint, either from clothing that is worn or from dryer exhausts. C. Guest guest
JEFF, KELLY, Others... ALL Free also has no surficants... Its what I use, and what works best for me economically. Seventh Generation was far too expensive. the All has lasted many months for the large 12 buck container, that empties like a keg. Guest guest
What about using borax mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with washing soda? No one uses this? I like it myself.
