I know folks who have taken essiac doing chemo and rad... don't know if it will cure the shingles but it can't hurt... Just the best nutrition, rest, and stress

reduction. Shingles occurs when the varicella virus becomes active again during

a stressful time in our lives. It happens a lot to grieving widows. Elderberry

is probably fine, but she should probably run it by her oncologist first. My

guess is that they will lay off the chemo for a while.
