We went to the farmers market last we got some kiwis and fennel. Here is what I did with them tonight:

Kiwi Fennel Salad

1/2 head of Romaine lettuce, torn in bite sized pieces

Equal amount of spinach

3 or 4 kiwis

1/4 to 1/2 bulb fennel

1/2 Meyers lemon

olive oil

Cut kiwis in half, scoop out with a spoon and cut in slices. Slice fennel thin. Mix with spinach and lettuce. Dress with olive oil and lemon.

A very satisfying mix of flavors and textures for me.
