Guest guest
Hi List Friends! My postman in Poolesville, MD (Mr. Ron Poole) absolutely loved the smell of the virgin coconut oil I got in a co-op buy a couple of months ago. I promised I'd make him something as a holiday present that had a lot of the virgin coconut oil in it. Now I'm wondering what to make for him? Does anyone have any recipes for either hand cream or lip balm that might be suitable? Or can you suggest a Toiletries Library recipe that I could alter to include virgin coconut oil in place of one or more of the other ingredients? Would it substitute well for cocoa or shea butter for example? I'm assuming I could substitute it for regular coconut oil, but I'm concerned that it could be drying to the skin??? My goal is to make something that really smells strongly of that delicious v.c.o.! Thanks for any and all suggestions and recipes. Happy Holidays! Zabeth Gallagher ZabethGall@...
