christina welcome i do believe newcomers are very welcome i am kind

of new also and i find these folks to be very patient. the things that

come to mind that you could start with that you could findingredients

locally would be bath salts, salt glows, dusting powder and probably soap

i dont make soap yet but someone else will come along with advice on

that one do you have any books it would be helpful to get some books

mailordering supplies is ultimatly the best way to go as the prices and

selection is better as far as preservatives in things go i personaly do

not believe if you make small quantities just for yourself that you will

have to be concerned about that... and once you get your recipies down

and want to make more stuff in larger quantities you will need to study

the info thats out there on the subject of preservatives its a very

big and controversial subject i would not get bogged down on that

right away oh and toners and linen sprays are pretty easy. i live in

n.m. also you can learn alot from this list just read and ask

questions dolores
