Kakatiya University's Promise to stabilize the HIV pandemic in the North Andhra

Pradesh

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Volunteers of Kakatiya University under the

leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof.V.Gopal Reddy, NSS Coordinator Prof.Seetaram

Naik and the Programme Officers of various colleges took out a huge rally to

bring the awareness on HIV/AIDS in Hanamkonda of Warangal district.

In the valedictory speech the Vice Chancellor said that the students are getting

education on the money contributed by the community and therefore it is the duty

of all educated to repay in the form of service to the mankind especially in

response to the HIV/AIDS in the community.

He appealed all the students to spread the prevention message in their

respective villages as they can influence the masses with their ntelligentia. He

also forecasts that the epidemic will be stabilized in the Northern Andhra

Pradesh with the sustained efforts of the University.

The inspired students took oath to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic, Let us all wish

them a grand success in the interest of masses in general and the student

community in particular.
