I use Rice & Shine and love it. I am also a rep for the company

and can get it for you for a few dollars above my cost - email me

personally if you're interested.

Thanks!

, if you need a supplement I would

recommend you go to your local health food retailer. A mom and pop is

preferable to a chain. Tell the clerk what you are looking for. You want an all

natural general supplement. I think you will get much more bang for your buck

this way. I generally do not trust any mass marketing product on the web.

Ingredient label:

Stabilized rice bran derivative, whey protein isolate (92%), cocoa

(non-alkanized), tagatose, vitamin C (acerola 18% extract), fructose,

Citrisweet, Phytosterols (95%), Chocolate flavor, rice protein (80%),

vanilla flavor, guar gum, xanthum gum, calcium citrate, L-tyrosine,

trimethylglycine, vitamin A (palmitate), vitamin D3 and selenium chelate.

Reading over the ingredient label, I was wondering why you think that

would be a good substitute for vegetables? Too much sugar in it for

my taste - tagatose is a sugar, fructose, citrisweet. Artificial

flavors. L-tyrosine is an isolated amino acid (why would you just

take one when you need several " essential " ones?) Trymethylglycine

(again, an isolated amino acid) Xanthan Gum (a colorless, slimy,

thickening agent) And the vitamins look to be just synthetic and/or

isolated as well. How can they call this " wholefood nutrition " when

it's not even food???

Give me food!

Shari,

Great think we are not neighbors as I would be at your door for the

ripe persimmons. I love them mushy too. I assume you are in a coop.

Did you get to 24 hour yet? Can email me.

hugs,

carolg

food. I'm waiting for my 50# of persimmons to ripen! Now that's what

I call whole food.

So if she is low on vegetables, why not up her veggie intake? Find ways to

make them enjoyable. If she does not want to eat the " directly " blend them

in soups or stews.

Is she looking for vitamins and minerals or fiber?

it's vitamins and minerals i need. i ate very little veggies in my

long life. now, i can see why i have problems... i am now making

smoothies with spinach, romaine, chia seed, liquid minerals, and fruit

smoothies in the morning. however, i was thinking i need more. i

also am beginning to make soups, but after it cooks a long time, i

throw the veggies away. i was thinking that it would taste better if

i browned the onions and garlic. any suggestions?

thanks, diana
