The schools are using schoolyard bully tactics to get every child vaccinated, regardless of scientific evidence of autism, or shingles outbreaks from the vaccines. It is NOT always as easy as obtaining, filling out and filing the proper form, sadly. I made those phone calls on Friday to the State's Attorney's office, and to the land Governor's office. I was NOT warmly received, if you can believe that...! One receptionist told me, " Well it's a matter of public health, ma'am, don't you agree? " I said no and she got somewhat curt with me. !! The bad thing about this sort of occurrence is - if officials get away with it in one area, it sets an ugly precedent. I know this list is NOT about politics, but this is an important issue happening, and it is absolutely going to impact your freedom to buy all those herbs and supplements we all prefer using - never doubt it for a minute. It might be worth taking a few moments to consider writing or calling those officials in land, and/or your own government representatives, and very clearly make known your objections. Thanks - Ev

Guest guest
In a way, yes. But I've not heard of pet owners being forced at gunpoint to vac their pets. Judith Alta and Oski Sharyn E. Albuquerque has put into effect some dreadful, drastic laws about vaccinations and city licenses. And yes they CAN come get your pet if you aren't properly documented and recorded in the system. It's NOT a good thing. Ev (who is south of Albuquerque in SO many ways...)
Guest guest
Not quite Sharyn. They don't have to have shots legally. If your dogs are licensed (good luck!) they have to have rabies shots in California. Gayla Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California http://bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenough.html aeranch@... Guest guest
I am lucky then. All my dogs are " Instruments Of Husbandry " (i.e. working farm dogs) and exempt from a lot of laws. Guest guest
You're right, Gayla, but most people just go along with the status quo and what the veterinarians tell them and get their dogs vaccinated every year, without ever looking into the legalities. Not my dog, thank goodness! Sharyn -----Original Message----- From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Gayla Not quite Sharyn. They don't have to have shots legally. People who CARE provide vaccinations. " Shoot. For horses, some of the vaccinations are supposed to be given FOUR TIMES A YEAR!!!! And now we have government agencies hell-bent on keeping the real information locked away from us. Small wonder such a huge percentage of the population is on anti- depressants these days. Okay. I'm going to go sit with my hunny and re-align my energy. Ev
Guest guest
I remember a study from a panel of vets that came out about 6 or 7 years ago. It basically said that after the first few vaccinations, an older animal did not need annual boosters that had been " necessary " before. It actually gave credit to the animals for building a healthy immune system as they got older. Gayla Always Enough Ranch Acampo, California http://bouncinghoofs.com/alwaysenough.html aeranch@... Guest guest
(is in ABQ, NW) and they can " take possession of your pet, however. They have to see the Pet, it's not like they go door to door. If the pet is roaming the streets (even if just for 5 minutes) this is when they will let you know that you have to have them Vac'd and licensed. Syl > > > > ~~~~~Depends totally on where you live. Still - glad I left that town. Ev
