Friend with Shingles (on Chemo)

Hi All,

I have a friend who has been getting chemo and radiation " therapies "

(is that an oxy-moron?) for several months. The poor gal has had more

things going wrong (of course) as a result of the devasation of these

so called therapies.

Anyway, Recently she has had a couple of outbreaks of shingles, and i

was wondering what type of herbal teas might help her immunity that

would not interfere with the chemo and radiation or other meds that she

might be taking? Is Elderberry safe? They are of course giving her

`script topical for the shingles, but i am looking for something that

might help her body fight it and anything else that might come along.

We have already got her started on Green tonic, and convinced her to

change some of her eating habits. She is single and alone mostly, so

it has to be something easy, that she can do for herself.
