Guest guest
Two good supplements to balance blood sugar are chromium and vanadium. But you need to take them together. (I cured lifelong hypoglycemia by taking them…after several years of taking them specifically, I stopped taking extra supplements of them and just have whatever’s in my vitamin pack, and still haven’t had a low blood sugar attack in years. And can pretty much eat whatever I want, although I try not to start the day off with carbohydrates. Fruit is okay for me, though…no longer affects my blood sugar.) Guest guest
Blueberry leaf tea can help lower it. Cut the carbs and fruit out or down to a tiny amount for a while. Lean proteins and lots of fiber and veggies. You need to be exercising every day too. Guest guest
--- In health , " Blua Birdo " to all who have made suggestions, my average daily menu is breakfast, a smoothie with two apples, 1 T flax, 1 T. lecithin, 1 scoop whey protein (1.5g. carbs. i just began putting 1/2 cinnamon in it. a little later, i eat 1 scrambled egg and 1 slice spelt toast buttered. lunch, sometimes some chicken, maybe soup. dinner, green smoothie w/spinach, romaine lettuce, sometimes w/cucumber and/or celery with 1 T. chia occasionally, i have a sandwich, but try to avoid it...however, i get so hungry for this that i feel driven. i do have some blueberry green tea, which i have not had much, but will if it's suggested. i probably drink a quart of water...probably not enough. i take chromium and vanadium, and many other ionic minerals and a multi-vitamin. my dr. told me when i get my gall bladder problem solved, it would help heal all the other things wrong, i.e., sciatica, arthritis, etc. i just ordered some cassia cinnamon and plan on making tincture, as i heard it was good for diabetes. i have garlic, but hate having it on my breath, so do not take it as planned. thanks, diana > > blood sugar high numbers > > > i have diabetes II. the last few weeks my blood sugar is pretty high. > yesterday it was 282 and today 212. usually it has been 148 or > thereabouts. i am eating healthier than ever. i do not take any meds > and have been doing my best to manage it with food. so, i'm doing > something wrong. is there anything that can lower my blood sugar...i > do many things, but looks like it's not working. any help appreciated. > > diana >
Guest guest
You can cut the garlic cloves in small pieces and swallow them as pills in the middle of a meal. I suggest to eat more raw vegetables. Also, a good plant enzyme complex with every meal. Guest guest
, here are my suggestions: Reduce it to 1 apple in the smoothie and add a fiber powder to the mix. Instead of the spelt toast, eat another egg or add some sliced tomatoes or other vegetable you enjoy. Soup is OK without pasta or rice. Lentil or split pea would be a great idea because they have plenty of soluble fiber, which helps lower BS. Green smoothie sounds fine. If you must have a sandwich, make it with a whole grain sandwich wrap or 1 piece of whole grain bread instead of 2. Even better would be to roll your sandwich filling in a piece of lettuce and skip the bread. Blueberry leaf tincture or tea should be available at your local health food store. Cinnamon is OK to try. Bitter melon and gymnema sylvestre are two other herbs that come to mind. Try the cinnamon and blueberry options first though. Garlic capsules would be OK if you can’t stand the taste and smell of fresh. Carry a water bottle with you and drink when you are thirsty. As far as your gallbladder, I don’t know how bad it is, so I can’t really advise you there. I do know that dandelion root and milk thistle can help liver and gallbladder function and that any fats ingested will be difficult to digest. Guest guest
In reference to garlic oil capsules my opinion is that the ones sold in the past were good, but the ones we can buy now are totally useless because they are odorless and lost already part of their healing properties. I noticed the difference and I don't use them anymore because they don't work. Guest guest
ok, that does it! garlic every day! also, my bs went down from 282 to 161. it got lower each day as i cut down on fruit. thanks for so much help from so many of u, too bad, my doctor doesn't tell me these things. usually, i have to rely on u guys. when i visit the doctor, i tell him how i healed things like a urine infection, lowering blood sugar and he just nods his head and smiles and tells me i'm amazing and so well informed. and i am grateful to have SOMEONE who knows something!!! diana > > that is why you should try real garlic.. chop it up and swallow it with a drink of water. > >
