Guest guest
I joined Weight Watchers last Tuesday, trying to get a handle on both this 7+ extra pounds I’m carrying and the holiday season. I don’t have any problem staying in the point guidelines, but feel that there is way too much processed food pushed to stay within those points. For example, I wanted to eat a piece of raw milk cheese the other day and it came out to 5 points for a small piece! I’m thinking that raw foods should have either no points at all (since they’re totally assimilated) or at the very least a reduced amount. And I eat a lot of raw foods, so want to be able not to include them in my daily points total. For instance, today I ate an apple (1 point), which I think should be 0 points because it’s raw. (At least all non-starch veggies are 0 points, cooked or raw.) Anyone have any advice on how to enjoin these two paradigms? I realize that it’s best to eat 100% raw, but I just can’t do it. I have a husband who won’t go there and we eat out a lot and the holidays are here. At home, I don’t have any trouble staying 100% raw until dinner, though, so that HAS to account for something, doesn’t it? Any advice greatly appreciated!
