Guest guest
Looking for some answers as to why my abdomen is bloated so much of the time? Not everyday, some days more than others. Is it something I'm eating, perhaps? Any suggestions? Alice
Guest guest
There are many possibilities: indigestion, candida, inflammation of some organs, water retention, menstrual period, allergic reaction to some foods, just to name a few. It depends of what other symptoms you have. Rena Belly bloat Looking for some answers as to why my abdomen is bloated so much ofthe time? Not everyday, some days more than others. Guest guest
O.K........I have been taking stuff for candida (a whole candida cleanse as a matter of fact) and I'm not that fond of sugar and don't have a sweet tooth, don't eat bread as a rule (once in awhile a slice of sprouted grain bread), rarely drink alcohol, eat well including yogurt and take acidophilus, can't tolerate soy so don't indulge in it and try to stay away from stuff that has soy in it. I've had a hysterectomy (partial) and take a herbal combo for menopause symptoms. Oh yeah, and I do yoga and go the the gym at least twice a week so my weight is normal for height. Now, I do feel somtimes like my intestinal tract is upset (inflammed?) and experience constipation frequently. I also, have FMS which I have pretty much under control with natural means. What kinda foods would cause this? or, would lack of or too much fibre? What do you think? > > There are many possibilities: indigestion, candida, inflammation of some organs, water retention, menstrual period, allergic reaction to some foods, just to name a few. > It depends of what other symptoms you have. > > Rena
Guest guest
I posted about my daughter's health challenge, Crohn's Disease and Irritable Bowel Disease. She is one ton of stress. Are you taking probiotics? My daughter is having allergy elimination process done, known as NAET, who also does acupuncture. It's working great plus foot bathes. www.red-white.net or maybe .com. At least you are doing yoga, my daughter is doing nothing and I can't do it for her. Feel well. carolg > > O.K........I have been taking stuff for candida (a whole candida > cleanse as a matter of fact) and I'm not that fond of sugar and don't > have a sweet tooth, don't eat bread as a rule (once in awhile a slice of > sprouted grain bread), rarely drink alcohol, eat well including yogurt > and take acidophilus, can't tolerate soy so don't indulge in it and try > to stay away from stuff that has soy in it. Guest guest
Perhaps the bloating is caused by constipation and fermentation of certain foods. Sometimes constipation can be due to stress and also due to not drinking enough water. I suggest that you eat squash 3 or 4 times per week. This is very soothing for the bowels and helps elimination. Something important: always eat fruit first and far from other foods. The fruit stays in the stomach only for a short time because it's digested in the intestines. The other foods need to be in the stomach much longer. If you eat fruit on top of something else, you force the fruit to be in the stomach and it gets fermented. It means gas, bloating, heartburn, etc. Of course, some people may feel all these symptoms deeper than others and in different degrees. Pay attention to these details and see what happens. Guest guest
If you have FMS chances are you have irritable bowel syndrome as well. Up your fiber intake. Keep up the exercise and good diet. Try to reduce anything that is stressing you out currently because that is a trigger for both disorders. Guest guest
Thanks for all the suggestions, I think you might be right about the food combinations. I was just reading about that and wondering if mixing fruit smoothies with a whey protein might be a bad combo. Also, I do try to drink lots of water. I'm making some changes to my diet and we'll see if things get better. Alice > Perhaps the bloating is caused by constipation and fermentation of certain foods. Guest guest
I wouldn't make this combo. In fact, try not to mix so many things together, but having one by one. In the case you may be allergic to any of them you can identify it. Rena Re: Belly bloat Thanks for all the suggestions, I think you might be right about thefood combinations.
