There is another product, made by THE SAME MAN, but a different company, that is NOT MLM, and is much cheaper. The man I use for a distributor for things like this will be placing his order soon (hopefully this week), and my price should be in the neighborhood of $25/bottle. The name of the product is 'Primal Defense', and is again, supposed to be the EXACT SAME THING as 'Natures Biotics', except it is not marketed through MLM, so doesn't have any added costs built into it. If anyone has a problem finding it (I have seen it in one health food store, but it was about $40/bottle) at a decent price, let me know, as I am considering becoming a reseller myself (that will depend on how well I like it once I try it). Guest guest
Hi , I've been in contact with at Primal Defense. I think that the ingredients are not the same. He claims that he doesn't think there is any Bacillus Subtilis in the formula. Guest guest
RE: Probiotics I purchased Vital Biotics, which also sells Nature's Biotics, from PH Products, 177 Green Bay Rd, P.O. Box 395, Theinsville, WI 53092-0395. (414) 242-5650. I didn't know Vital Biotics was MLM when I bought it. It was about $26. The owner of the company recommended it over Nature's Biotics, saying the latter was more likely to " stop one up " . (Perhaps a good thing to those on Homozon.) I called the Voyager Group, which makes Vital Biotics, after I received my bottle. It is probiotics in an SBO base. I spoke to a very enthusiastic PHD who told me that the SBO's are a combination from American soil, and contain many organisms that generally flourish together, and support the growth of the probiotics. (But no subtilis.) I don't see how to tell the difference between the products except to try them all. , please keep us posted on Primal Defense. If you do sell it, I'd like to try it. I am currently paying $50 for 2 oz of powder that lasts me 5 weeks taking a double dose twice a day, so it isn't expensive. But, I am always willing to try different brands. Guest guest
Hi , Mea Culpa for not doing this myself. My husband was helping me and did a search on Alta Vista for Primal Defense and came up with a site about Primal Defense. He thought they were the " head honchos " . Upon verifying this myself, it seems that they are distributors of various products. . In any case, I emailed them asking about ingredients, especially bacillus subtilis. The ingredients given are those listed on the website, but no bacillus subtilis. I emailed back again and specified my request. He got back to me saying that he doesn't think there is any in the formula. Sorry for the confusion Sandy >From bounce-oxyplus--509-details51=hotmail.comonelist Mon Nov 30 09:59:01 1998 >Received: (qmail 25549 invoked by alias); 30 Nov 1998 18:05:09 -0000 >Received: (qmail 25527 invoked from network); 30 Nov 1998 18:05:07 -0000 >Received: from unknown (HELO camel7.mindspring.com) (207.69.200.57) by pop.onelist.com with SMTP; 30 Nov 1998 18:05:07 -0000 >Received: from [209.86.85.67] (user-38lcla3.dialup.mindspring.com [209.86.85.67]) by camel7.mindspring.com (8.8.5/8.8.5) with SMTP id MAA22629 for <oxyplusonelist>; Mon, 30 Nov 1998 12:58:46 -0500 (EST) >Message-Id: <199811301758.MAA22629@...> >Date: Mon, 30 Nov 1998 12:58:47 -0500 >x-mailer: Claris Emailer 2.0v3, January 22, 1998 >From: Marcus <csharp@...> ><oxyplusonelist> >Mailing-List: list oxyplusonelist; contact oxyplus-owneronelist >Delivered-mailing list oxyplusonelist >Precedence: bulk >List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:oxyplus-unsubscribeONElist> >Reply-to: oxyplusonelist >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: text/plain; charset= " US-ASCII " >Subject: Re: Probiotics/Bacillus Subtilis > >From: Marcus <csharp@...> > >On 11/30/98 12:02 AM, details51@... said: > >>Hi , >> >>I've been in contact with at Primal Defense. Y E S -- I am DEFINITELY interested in trying this product, and would very much appreciate purchasing a bottle through you connection. Please let me know how this evolves. Count me in if you are >doing >something with it. OK, I just talked (FINALLY) to the head guy at Primal Defense. They do NOT have anything IN WRITING about what is in their product, but he said it is DEFINITELY the same product as 'Natures Biotics', DOES contain bacillus subtilus and the other organisms and is made by the same guy, but is simply offered as non-MLM, but with the addition of some of the products offered by The Green Kamut Corp, which says a lot as far as I'm concerned about their taste for quality. They only sell to health 'professionals', or health food stores/distributors, but the case price (12 bottles) is $245 (includes shipping), which comes out to $20/bottle. You can also order one bottle for @ $22, but again, you must be 'in the business'. My friend will order it for me, but I would rather not buy an entire case, so I'll probably start with a bottle or two, since it's not all that much more. Each bottle contains 150 500mg caps.
