Dear Forum,

Bengal Network For People Living With HIV/AIDS (An Affiliated body of INP+) is

going to create a Media Advocacy Cell. It is the space where we can share our

problem and also we can advocate our problem.

Our Goal is:-

To create a space in the media for PLWHA through which they Disseminate their

rights with their own.

Objectives

To create a space in the media like Television, Radio, Website, Print Media,

Hoarding for PLWHA.

To make a bridge with the society through media which established in the name of

“ MEDIA ADVOCACY CELL” (MAC).

To create a platform for and by the PLHA, where they raise their voice

To make an interactive Live Program with Key Persons of the society by which

they improve their quality of life.

To make a good relationship with all the people of the society.

To create a situation by which reduce stigma, discrimination and misconception

of HIV/AIDS.

Fund Raising Activities

To seek out all the Positives People who does not comes out due to stigma and

taboos.

This Project is basically a pilot Project where PLHA introduce Themselves only

through electronic media (one of the component) by which we will try to see our

innovative idea is excepted by the society or not, also will get fund from

funders and sponsors, because without fund this project would not be continued

for the long run.

This project would be a Live and Phone in Program, by which the viewers and

organizers are interacting with Each other. The time schedule for 30 minutes in

prime time. This project will Cover the entire state, by the media.

We think it is our good effort.
