Dear Ronni:

I looked up Leptin diet, and I think that it looks ok. I have tried that

stuff before because that recommended eating pattern has been around for

awhile. Anyhow, no diets every worked for me other than short-term, which is

really not working. What worked for me was just making my body healthy. I

take

nutritional supplements, and do avoid starches, since I do not eat wheat, rye,

nor barley, and low sugar. I basically eat gluten-free/casein-free, and no

MSG, no artificial anything, no UNorganic apples, no UNorganic corn, no corn

syrup, no caffeine, no dairy, no preservatives. I cook everything; no boxed

stuff, except the gluten-free brownies about once a month. But basically, we

have all lost weight eating like this, and we feel great. We are so excited

about how we feel and look that we don't miss all the forbidden foods.
