Guest guest
Got it from FreeCycle, meaning it was, ah, free. A guy was moving to a boat and giving things away and the greenhouse was one of those things. We picked it up on New Year's Day. It was already disassembled and every single piece fit in the van. Luckily they are manufactured about 50 miles from us and Joe could drive there when he needed a piece. And instructions! He bought a video on putting it together the first time he went down there. I have all sorts of starts in there, but they are outgrowing their little peat pots. Usually we would have our gardens in by now, but it's still snowing and hailing. Luckily I haven't put our out yet as they would have been beat to a pulp by the hail we've had for the last five days. This a.m. (it's 5) I woke up to a white yard, again. Here's what we have: http://www.sunglogreenhouses.com/index.html of course ours isn't quite so pretty and shiny, but it's very functional. Guest guest
Gayla, Oh, yes, I think you described your $42 greenhouse investment. We get lots of wind up here so wondering if it still would work with plastic? I have to look for the post either here or at the Gardening Organically site which is , hunt for Gardening Organically. Thanks. Yes, Carol loves pictures so please share Gayla. carolg \ > Carol, I think I have described in the past how we built a 7' X 8' > greenhouse for $42 out of cattle panels and clear plastic.
